All our efforts have been directed to making our lifes easier. We buy things to make oneself more comfortable and reduce workload. Ironically, that leads us to being unhealthy and out of shape. Additionally, we spend more time working, watching TV, family, friends, and look at our awesome cell phones. We don't set some time aside to exercise. Before you know it, you're overweight, ten years older, and it's hard to walk up the stairs.

It's up to you to take control of your health. It's not easy and you may not even know where to start. Many people spend years trying to figure it all out on their own. Others buy the latest DVD series to workout at home and others try the newest, weirdest diet for a too-good-to-be-true solution.

If you're ready to take action and improve your life through fitness, then I can help. My mission is educate, inspire, challenge, change and improve your life through fitness.

The trainer's Bio:

Francisco T. Rodriguez, Marine veteran, is the trainer, motivator and owner of Hard Knox Fit.  He proudly holds teaching certifications with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and TRX Suspension Training.  For over six years, he has been making people sweat and grunt.  As the Body Compostion Program Cordinator in the Marines, he honed his skills and developed a good sense a humor while leading the High Interval Tactical Traning, Marine Corps Mix Martial Arts, Remedial Conditioning programs for the U.S. Marine Corps.

Training is his way of life and fitness is his passion.  A born leader, he enjoys guiding people to their health and fitness goals.  He often says, there is nothing more satisfying than watching his client's progression and transformation.

He states that, "You can complain, hate others, kick, wish, or dream about how to change your body and health, but at the very end, you just have to be the one to get it done."  Let him help you.

Group Sessions

Our group sessions are held in the beautiful outdoors at Morley Field on the weekdays and at the San Diego Convention Center on Saturday.  Training outside is the best way to get some fresh air and take advantage of this beautiful place we call home, San Diego.  Hard Knox Fit training is suitable for all levels of fitness.

The Hard Knox Fit recruits show up ready to work and sweat. They help each other to do more, push more, and sweat more.  Some recruits live close, others far, and all become fast friends. You'll enjoy seeing your fellow recruits as they become stronger, leaner, and happier!

Personal Training Sessions

As your personal trainer, I have the scientific and practical knowledge to help you improve your fitness and achieve the level of performance you want.  This process involves determining your goals, identifying your requirements, assessing your fitness and physical capacity, and designing a program to help you achieve your goals.

I know the latestest about the influence of diet and exercise on heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, and immune function.  My training techniques help develop power, skill, coordination, speed, reaction time, and balance.  These skills are largely developed through specific training of the body to change and improve.
